Non-Slip Rod Breakdown Machine, Aluminum Wire Drawing Machine
Non-slip rod breakdown machines keep the wire speed synchronized with the capstans during the wire drawing process, which reduces relative slip and helps protect the wire surface. They process Ø9.5 mm high-strength, high-conductivity, heat-resistant aluminum alloy rods, as well as standard aluminum rods, into Ø1.8–4.5 mm single wires. After selected part adjustments, the same drawing setup can also process standard aluminum and aluminum alloy shaped wires.

Features
- Each drawing capstan has its own motor and reducer, so the drawing ratio at each pass can be adjusted through the electrical control system.
- The non-slip drawing design reduces relative movement between the wire and the capstan surface, which lowers capstan wear and helps improve the finished wire surface.
- The wire drawing main unit uses a pneumatic cover and an inclined oil collection base, that makes the drawing fluid tank easier to clean and maintain.
- The pneumatic dual-reel take-up system reaches reel change speed quickly and can change reels once the speed drops to 8–12 m/s.
- When reels change, the wire leading-end diameter stays within a tight ±0.01 mm range, which helps reduce scrap wire.
- The traversing frame uses a dual-support structure for stable movement, and the reversing position can be adjusted electrically during production.
- The wire accumulator uses a contactless potentiometer for longer service life, smooth linear adjustment, and faster reel change response.
- The rotating-arm pay-off stand has two working positions, which allows rod feeding and rod connection without stopping the drawing machine.
- If abnormal rod pay-off occurs, the wire drawing machine stops automatically to prevent drawing faults or wire damage.
- Full digital DC speed control, PLC control, measurement display, fault display, fault alarm, and automatic shutdown give operators better control over the drawing process.
