Aluminum Rod CCR Line
Aluminum Continuous Casting and Rolling Line
(2+14 Rolling Stands)
High-output aluminum continuous casting and rolling lines produce pure and alloy aluminum rods for cable and conductor manufacturing. After the molten aluminum has been refined and filtered, it goes into the caster and forms a solid cast bar. The cast aluminum bar does not need to cool down, be stored, or be reheated; it moves directly into the rolling mill and is rolled to the required diameter through several passes. This direct casting-to-rolling flow shortens the traditional production process and helps factories produce rods more efficiently with more stable quality.
Applications
- Aluminum Rods
Mainly used to produce electrical round aluminum rods from Ø9.5 mm to Ø15 mm and aluminum alloy rods in the 1xxx, 3xxx, 6xxx, and 8xxx series. Some aluminum CCR line configurations can also produce aluminum billets. - End-Use Industries
The finished rods are mainly supplied to the wire and cable industry as conductor material for power cables and overhead conductors, with additional use in power transmission, new energy vehicles, construction, and home appliance applications.
